Ethnic

In this post, we would like to share with you all about the definition of ethnic group. An ethnic group or ethnicity is defined as a group of people whose members identify with each other, through a common heritage, consisting of a common language, a common culture and a tradition of common ancestry.

For your information, the terms ethnicity and ethnic group came from Greek word, ethnos means nation. In Malaysia, we proud to have various type of ethnic that can live together in harmony and peace. There are three main ethnic groups in Malaysia. There are Malays, Chinese, and India. Malays and other indigenous groups are known as Bumiputras. But, there are still many other ethnic group in this country such as Bajau, Kadazan and many more. It is very unique to have this such ethnic in one country. We now unite as 1Malaysia.
